Half a Year

Today we had Maggie's six month check up.  I can't believe already a half a year has gone by since she was born.  I think this has been my favorite age so far.  She is just so fun and so happy.  She scoots all around the house, almost ready to crawl.  She sits on her own and can almost go from her belly to sitting up.  She is eating some solids, so far, sweet potatoes, green beans and apple sauce.  She is still breastfeeding and I love it (and so does she!).  I was telling my mom the other day that I'm just not ever going to get over having a baby.  It's such a miracle and the best thing that has happened to me (besides Aaron).  She said you usually get over it when they become teenagers...  :)

In other news, we leave next week for my cousin Hannah's wedding in Oregon!  We are so excited for a little mini vacation.  It will be Maggie's first time in a airplane and my parents are going to be right across the aisle from us!  I'm soooo excited!  Also, my sister Katie is having her little baby girl tomorrow!!  Yes, she is going to get induced and I'm going to get another niece.  We are all so excited to see what she looks like because Belen and Thyssen look so different!  Is she going to look Italian or Danish!??!  :)

I'm still working from home part-time and it's great.  My work is so easy going and they love that I'm the guinea pig for tele-commuting.  I really don't mind it either, if it lets me stay at home with Maggie while still making money!
